Russian oil production registered a record high of 10.37 million barrels per day

The data showed the Russian Energy Ministry, said on Wednesday that Russia's oil production is the world's largest production rose about 1% in 2012 to score a record annual average since the Soviet era, when 10.37 million bpd from 10.27 million bpd in 2011.

The ministry said that Russian crude oil production reached 518.018 million tonnes tons last year, and in December production fell to 10.48 million barrels a day from 10.50 million in November, the highest level since the Soviet era.

The daily production jumped 10.4% gas on a monthly basis to 2.12 billion cubic meters thanks to the increase in seasonal demand.
